Terms of Use
These terms apply to everyone who uses notes.com.vn and to everyone who sends material to NOTES for publication.
1. Using the site
Content on NOTES is offered for personal, non-commercial reading and research. Photographs, drawings and texts belong to their authors. Do not reproduce, republish or use them commercially without permission from the rights holders. Links and short quotations with clear credit are welcome.
2. Licence for submitted material
By submitting material, you grant NOTES a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to publish it, edit it for length and format, translate it and display it on notes.com.vn and on NOTES’ social and print channels, always with credit. You keep ownership of your work. You may withdraw this licence at any time by writing to mail@notes.vn; the material will then be removed within a reasonable time.
3. Editorial decisions
NOTES decides what to publish. We may edit texts, select and order images, decline a submission or remove published content at any time, without giving reasons.
4. Your responsibility
When you submit, you confirm that you own or have cleared all rights to the material, that the credits are complete and accurate, and that publication does not infringe anyone else’s rights. You agree to tell us promptly of any claim and to bear responsibility for claims arising from material you supplied.
5. Liability
The site is provided as it is. We try to keep information accurate but cannot guarantee it, and NOTES is not liable for errors, interruptions or the content of external sites linked from NOTES.
6. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you submit applies to that submission. These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam.

Privacy Policy
NOTES collects as little personal data as it can. This section explains what we receive, why, and what you can ask of us.
What we collect
When you write to us, use one of our forms or send a project, we receive your name, your email address and whatever you include in your message and files. We use this only to review your submission, publish the credits you supplied and reply to you.
Credits
Names in project credits are published as they were provided by the person who submitted the project. If you appear in a credit and want it corrected, write to us.
Technical data
Like any website, our hosting keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. These logs are kept for a limited time and are not used to identify readers.
Cookies
NOTES uses only the cookies the site needs to work, for example to keep editors signed in. We may use simple visitor statistics to see which pages are read. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not build profiles of readers and we do not sell data.
Service providers
Our hosting company, our image storage on Amazon Web Services and our email provider process data on our behalf, only to run the service. When you open a page, your browser loads images from that storage.
Retention
Messages and submissions are kept as long as they are needed for editorial work and our records. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and you can withdraw consent for its use. Your data is handled in line with Vietnamese law on personal data protection.
